Y Lotto Draw Has Come to an end

May 18, 2022 YMCA of Cape Breton has decided to wrap-up its weekly Y Toonie Campaign. The last weekly draw will be held on Thursday, June 23^rd, 2022. The campaign has had its up and downs with COVID since it launched in late 2019 with many stops and starts to the campaign due to public health restrictions. Unfortunately, the challenges have continued to increase with the implementation of this campaign such as our inability to sell tickets online, the availability of volunteers, the rising cost of gas and our reliance on volunteers and staff to do the many pick-ups each week at our Y Toonie box locations throughout the CBRM, as well as the overall time and effort required to deliver such a campaign. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to you our valued customer, for supporting the campaign through buying tickets for the weekly draws. All profits from the campaign are directed to our Financial Assistance and Strong Kids funds to ensure the YMCA continues to be accessible for all. If you have a prepaid balance that is past June 23, you will be notified with your options.
